Karen Turner, Associate Broker, GRI, Specialized New Construction Agent

Karen was born and raised in Illinois but found her way to Alabama via numerous large commercial and residential projects. Karen has been a licensed REALTOR in the State of Alabama since 1968 and also has her Broker's license and GRI designation. 

Residence of Auburn will recognize Karen from her long list of civic and volunteer activities in the community. She served on the Board of Zoning and Adjustments for the City of Auburn, was the former Chairman of Tidy Tigers and the Auburn Beautification Council. Karen also served many terms on the Auburn Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and was Chairman of the Board in 2002. In recognition of the volunteer work, Karen has been awarded the Teague Award by the Auburn Chamber, which recognized the most outstanding community volunteer each year.

Karen is currently the Board President for the Lee County Association of REALTORS. She comes from four generations of REALTORS as her mother, Eloise Theobald, was the first female Broker for Johnson, Last, and Hayes in Birmingham. Her daughter, Tracie West is a REALTOR, and her granddaughter, Marion Farinella, is in the process of being licensed!

Tracie was born in Lee County, Alabama. Soon after, her family relocated to Birmingham where she grew up and graduated from Jefferson Christian Academy. Tracie returned to Auburn and graduated from Auburn University College of Human Sciences in March of 1991. Tracie launched a career in business in 1997, owning and operating a successful small business in Auburn for the next 21 years. Tracie has been a licensee REALTOR since 2015 and has earned her GRI and ABR designations from the National Association of REALTORS.
Tracie is currently representing District 2 on the Alabama State Board of Education but has invested her time in the community for over nine years as a member of the Auburn City Schools Board of Education, including 2 years as Board President. She has serve as the Lee County Salvation Army Board Chair and also the Lee County Youth Development Center Board, Auburn Chamber of Commerce Board, Foundation for Auburn Continued Enrichment in Schools Board, Auburn University Housing Initiative Task Force and the Auburn Commercial Development Authority to name a few. Tracie was named Auburn Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year and the "Spirit of Auburn" recipient in 2010 for outstanding service to the Auburn Community. She is an Auburn Rotary Club member and past President.
Tracie is married to Lt. Colonel Paul West (US Army) and they have three daughters, Marion Farinella is their middle child. 


Marion Farinella, Closing and Marketing Coordinator

Marion was born and raised in Lee County, Alabama. She attended Auburn City Schools K-12 and after high school, attended Berry College in Rome, Georgia for a year. Marion returned to Auburn to finish her schooling at Auburn University. Growing up in Auburn, Marion has seen first-hand the relationship that Auburn University and our city have cultivated, both for current students and alums. She hopes to be part of these strides by bridging the gap between generations and encourage first time home buyers through the process. Her passion to serve people is what has kept her in Auburn and ultimately led her to real estate. 

Marion is currently working towards her license, but her knowledge of marketing has made her an integral part of the team. As the Marketing Coordinator, she loves to design and create tools for sellers and buyers. She is also the teams Closing Coordinator. She handles all aspects of the sales transaction from the very beginning to the closing table.

Marion married her high school sweetheart, Matt, in December of 2018. They reside in the heart of Opelika and together enjoy running, cooking, playing board games, and walking to local shops and eateries with their German Shorthaired Pointer and our team mascot, Pepper!
